Chocolate Fairy

This fairy was carved from a block of old growth red cedar that goes dark brown with age, it was one of my first carvings that I carved in our living room. The piece of wood was a block the size of the base of the carving. Much to my dismay my husband was burning this wood when I met him, but not anymore. This was a difficult one to photograph because it was so dark
